In 1984, Manoj Gupta started his book publishing journey with the launch of Raja Pocket Books. It gave the world some of the most famous fiction authors hailing from India.

In 1986, he introduced the world to Indian Superheroes as they launched Raj Comics. He created and launched characters like Nagraj, Dhruva, Bankelal and Doga.

In 2005, he collaborated with Meenu Gupta, a National Awardee, to create Tricolor Books which become a household name for children books in South East Asia and the Middle East.

In 2019, understanding the growing need of quality content for children, Pinwheel Books was launched to cater to the global demands of quality books at affordable prices.

In a short span of time, Pinwheel Books established itself as one of the leading players in children book publishing industry and have a global footprint across 25 countries.
